kb-eod skill — end-of-day walkthrough that mirrors the morning lap. Walks me through pulse → what I shipped → what the team shipped → changelogs + decisions → learnings → tomorrow's first move → drafts a public daily entry (this page) and an X-post.

Renamed kb-shutdown → kb-eod-daily-log — narrowed the old shutdown skill to a single job (writing the ops/logs daily-log file), now a child step of kb-eod.

A daily build-in-public loop only works if the friction is near zero. The trick is having the skill do the assembly — pull task counts, surface decisions logged today, scaffold the MDX — so the only work I have to do is annotate which items go public.
Cal Newport's "say SHUTDOWN out loud" shutdown cue is the highest-leverage element of any shutdown ritual in the research. It's a state change, not a checklist item.
The build-in-public hook for Kaizen is the parallel-agent throughput. "While I was working on X, the agents shipped Y, Z, and W" is unusual and worth surfacing.
